  • The High Cost of Gobbledygook The Center of Plain Language released a report card grading agency compliance with the Plain Writing Act. This legislation requires agencies to use concise and simply language when drafting public communications. Read the report card here.
  • House Members Introduced the Improper Payments Agency Cooperation Enhancement Act A bipartisan group of House members introduced companion legislation to a Senate bill that would improve agency access to certain databases. The bill is designed to reduce improper payments by ensuring all agencies have access to the Death Master File.  Read the press release here.
